California Prop 65 (California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) requires businesses to provide warnings to consumers if their products contain chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
If your products contain chemicals listed under Prop 65, they must have a clear and reasonable warning to inform consumers. It is commonly found in products like baked goods, roasted nuts, and certain snack foods. While acrylamide is naturally present, high-temperature cooking can cause an increase in its concentration.
Proposition 65 was enacted by California in 1986 to protect consumers by informing them about their potential exposure to chemicals that may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Over 900 chemicals are currently on the Prop 65 list, including acrylamide.

The Prop 65 warning is required by California law due to the presence of acrylamide in our products, even though the chemical occurs naturally. To comply with Prop 65 requirements, we include this warning on all products sold in California.
